“Be like a child – clear, loving, spontaneous, infinitely flexible and ready each moment to wonder and accept a miracle” – Mother Meera
When we are born, our minds and thoughts are like an empty board, nothing was written, good or bad, right or wrong, small or big.
As kids, we knew everything is possible. We already knew how to stop worrying no matter whatever the circumstances. No matter what happened, we never worried and went into a state of sadness. Laughing and going with the flow just came naturally to us.
However, as we grow up, we were taught something else to be followed or implemented. We were taught crying is for losers, so to be a winner you should never cry, it makes you look weak. The best way to deal with the pain was to pretend it never happened. It was a crime to commit mistakes, you are not allowed to commit.
For almost every one of us, growing up meant getting into the rat race and “settling”, instead of keeping that kid inside us alive and cheerful.
I believe, If you could do it then, you can do it now – by breaking off all that you aren’t moving.
I think the secret formula is to deal with problems about what we knew as a kid, not how we were taught to deal with them as we grew up.
“Great is the human who has not lost his childlike heart” – Mencius.
